Some thoughts from Kelly

Hello, I happen to be the sole designer of this blog and website. I chose to work alone because I find it's often far more difficult than is worth it to coordinate with a group of people on a project.  While it might be more work, in the end it saves me a lot of time and stress to just do it myself. Additionally, I am a third year student, almost in her mid-twenties, and I find my patience in regard to first-years to be be dwindling rapidly.   The project itself is, of course, a challenge. I'm not experienced with computers and haven't touched html since I was in elementary school, but it was actually kind of fun to figure out how all of this works. I wish i could make my website look better than it does, but I realize that my understanding of programming and Bootstrap itself both have limitations. Overall, considering I'm not that good at designing things and I did this project on my own, I think I'm proud of what I did.

Welcome to the Blog!

Hello, one and all! This is the Antheia Project's first blog update. Why did we chose Blogger as our host? Simply put, it's user friendly, has plenty of formatting options, and our web designer has experience using the platform. Other hosting sites, such as Tumblr, are more niche, appealing more to people who wish to socialize or run more personalized blogs, while webistes such as Wordpress are outdated and, frankly, a slog to use.  Blogger is easy, gives options to very quickly make a very nice-looking blog, and is much quicker than certain other services. stay tuned for more updates about the activities of the Antheia Project and have a lovely, affordable day!
